The Baden - Württemberg Pavilion

Baden-Württemberg's participation in the Dubai Expo is a historic event: as it is the first time in its history that it presents itself with its own pavilion at a world fair, as the only German federal state and the only region among 190 nations.

The Baden-Württemberg  House  wants to represent on a prestigious international stage such as “Expo 2020” in Dubai as Baden-Württemberg is a hub for innovation, business, research, tourism and culture. At the same time, it sees itself as a showcase for medium-sized, even family-owned companies, state-based corporations, education and research institutions, which are among the world leaders in many fields. 
In fact, companies and educational institutions have the opportunity to present their solutions and ideas to a wide and international audience in an exciting and interactive way, through the exhibition and the Vision Lab in the pavilion. In this way the important players of Baden-Württemberg present themselves here, not only as innovative realities, but also as partners of a solid network, working together on new solutions. The Baden-Württemberg House thus becomes a lively place for exchange and meeting.

iGuzzini lighting contributed to the lighting of the inner rooms with a flexible lighting system provided by main voltage tracks on which projectors were installed, in some rooms View Opti Beam, therefore in the round version, and Tecnica Evo. With this solution, with an intelligent combination of super spot, but also medium and wide flood optics, it was possible to obtain both the possibility of having general light, but also very spotted light in some environments, such as areas mainly dedicated to video.
